Colonel Ferland is the Commander, 45th Weather Squadron, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. In this
Capacity, he leads a team of military and civilian weather professionals who provide critical "Go/No-Go" weather decisions for spacelift missions launching and returning to Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Kennedy Space Center. The Squadron also delivers critical resource protection weather services for the Eastern Range, which comprises an area of 15 million square miles, a workforce of over 25,000 personnel and 20 billiion dollars in U.S. government assets.

SMSgt Adam J. Lougee is the Senior Enlisted Leader, 45th Weather Squadron, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. In this capacity, he advises the Commander on enlisted issues and leads a team of military and civilian weather professional who provide "Go/No-Go" weather decisions for every spacelift mission launching from or returning to Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and the Kennedy Space Center. Additionally, his team delivers time dominant weather resource protection services for the Eastern Range, which comprises an area of 15 million square miles, a workforce of more than 25,000 personnel and an estimated 20 billion dollars in United States Government assets.
